Helping schools, colleges, and education nonprofits support student success. I partner with higher education institutions, nonprofits, and mission-driven education organizations to improve student support systems, enhance advising and coaching programs, and design inclusive learning experiences. I do also hold a K–12 school counseling license and can partner in that realm, even though my current focus is on postsecondary and adult-serving programs.
How I Can HelpI bring a collaborative, practical approach to projects such as:
Career Services Strategy Designing or refining advising and coaching programs that meet the needs of diverse student populations, including international, first-gen, and career-changer audiences.
Curriculum & Program Design Building courses, workshops, and co-curricular programs that blend career development with skills exploration, self-awareness, and future planning.
Program Evaluation & Implementation Planning Supporting schools and organizations in researching and evaluating student success initiatives. Past projects have included reviewing counseling interventions like Second Step, helping institutions make research-backed decisions about tools and services, successfully applying for grants, and planning implementation steps and monitoring.
Strengths-Based Coaching & Facilitation Gallup Certified Strengths Coach with experience training staff and facilitating workshops for students, faculty, and advising teams.
Educational Software Testing Evaluating career and advising platforms from the lens of a practitioner—with usability feedback grounded in real-world student experience.
Staff Development & Peer Support Models Helping staff build coaching skills, strengthen communication practices, or pilot new advising tools.
Cross-Functional Collaboration Partnering with faculty, career services, admissions, and student support offices to create aligned, student-centered systems.
A Bit About MeI’ve worked in higher ed for over a decade at institutions including Stanford, UNC-Chapel Hill, and Duke, where I currently coach Master’s of Engineering students. My earlier career in tech, journalism, and ad-tech helps me bridge the gap between education and industry with ease. I hold an M.Ed. in School Counseling, a B.A. in Journalism & Mass Communication, and I’m currently pursuing ICF coaching certification. I am a certified Gallup Clifton Strengths Coach. I’ve also run a small education consulting business internationally and love working across cultures and disciplines.
