Fulbright Information Session
Friday and Saturday Feb 1-2, 2019, 10am-4pm
The director of the Moroccan American Commission for Educational and Cultural Exchange (MACECE), which oversees Fulbright in Morocco, will be in Tetouan this Friday and Saturday at Lycée Del Pilar, from 10am-4pm.

Fulbright Scholarship Application Deadline Announced for May 31, 2019
Students interested in Fulbrights, the application is due May 31, 2019.  Steps to apply include the following: 
  1. Fill out the application
  2. Write an essay on why you want to study in America
  3. Provide 3 letters of recommendation
  4. Prepare transcripts of your academic record (relevé de notes)
  5. Take the TOEFL Exam
  6. Take the GRE or GMAT exam (GMAT is for business school)
  7. Be prapared to interview in Rabat in July if called

Great Minds Meeting 4.0 in Agadir, Morocco for March 23 and 24, 2019. Attention student who are interested in leadership! 
The topic is: Perspective Of Youth About An Inclusive Africa 
As of today, January 23rd, they are still seeking leaders who can talk on panels or offer workshops on topics around inclusivity of youth in Africa. If you're interested in speaking, I can put you in touch with their organizers. If you want to attend you can sign up on their website. Their site describes the event as one "which will be more focused on social entrepreneurship and sustainable development goals as well as leadership, among the African Youth," There will also be a look at strategic partnerships and policies.  They state that the meeting is open to students, entrepreneurs, board members either in local or international organizations, and artists.

Next Generation Leaders - For People who want to work in America
Applications for the 2019-2020 cohort are open now through mid-February 2019. The McCain Institute’s flagship program is the Next Generation Leaders (NGL) program, designed to identify, train, network and empower a diverse group of emerging, character-driven leaders from the United States and around the world. Applicants should be in their mid-career, possess working proficiency in English with a high-degree of professional, academic and work achievements.  Aspiring Next Generation Leaders must demonstrate commitment to highest level of ethical leadership, show decisive recommendations that substantiate their leadership qualities, and make a commitment to return to their home environment at the end of the program year.
